Synopsis[]
As the new editor of the school paper, Alex learns of a scandal about cheating in an algebra test. Exposing these students will be hot news, but Alex is conflicted because Mallory is one of the cheating students.
Plot[]
Alex is elected (barely) as editor of the school newspaper the Harding Hurrah (which he wants to rename the Harding Herald). A student, Howie (played by Andrew J. Lederer), approaches Alex with a story about a cheating scandal at the school that is being covered up by the principal. Alex wants to run with the story, until he finds out Mallory is involved. Alex decides to print the story, with major repercussions.
