Trivia[]
- The title references the Princeton mascot which is the Tigers.
- Parts of this episode are used as a flashback in both "Battle of the Sexes" and "A Word to the Wise".
- Steven wants to watch the Ohio State - Iowa football game. The episode aired in January (not regular season for football), but regardless, the #7 Iowa Hawkeyes beat the #3 Ohio State Buckeyes 20-14 (on September 24, 1983). (Perhaps Steven had taped the game and watched it three months later! And he watched a different game - Ohio State was at home AND won the game) See some clips from the 1983 game on YouTube or read a newspaper account.
- Alex mentions lettering in soccer for three years (first time we've heard of this).
