Synopsis[]
Steven and Elyse wonder if they should buy a gun for protection after their home is burglarized.
Plot[]
The family returns from a movie to find their house has been broken into. Many things were stolen, and the Keatons are left insecure in their own home. They hood decide to hold a Neighbor Watch meeting. Ed Quigley, an insurance salesman, suggests that everyone buy a gun (though this is against Steven and Elyse's principles). They purchase a gun, but feel more afraid with it in the house, especially when Alex comes home unexpectedly late at night.
