Trivia[]
- Parts of this episode are used as flashbacks in "Wrap Around the Clock".
- Jennifer thinks Mallory and Nick getting married is so romantic. Elyse says, "This is not West Side Story". (In a later episode, D is for Date, Mallory thinks it's romantic when Jennifer and her boyfriend flunk a science project together.
- Nick sings a song "I love you ... Mallory ... I love you and you love me ... I can't believe ... that you proposed to me ... Marry me ... Marry me ... Mallory." (The audience just about claps, but then Alex does.)
- Alex responds to the above song with one of his own: "If you marry my sister, my father's gonna kill you."
- Right after Elyse says the news has completely devastated Steven, he enters singing, "Nobody knows the trouble I've seen ... Nobody knows my sorrow." (followed later by Ol' Man River, an excellent trio of "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot", and a quick "Tote that barge, Lift that rail" - also from Ol' Man River)
- Jennifer and Andrew sing "Here Comes the Bride".
- When asked if he wanted any special music at their wedding, Nick asks, "Yeah! Lola by The Kinks" The pastor clearly isn't familiar with this and suggests "Greensleeves" (and sings the first line).
