Various family members of Nick Moore are mentioned in different episodes.

Parents[]

His father is Joe Moore. After Nick was conceived, his parents tried to have a relationship even though they didn't love each other. Joe was frequently absent and walked out for good when Nick was eleven. Joe and Nick go years without seeing each other before they reconnect in Father, Can You Spare a Dime?

Nick's mother took care of Scrapper for many years, but in Nick's Best Friend, she moves to a pet-free building.

Siblings[]

In Mr. Wrong, Nick offers to set Jennifer Keaton up with the little brother he has at home. He has at least one other sibling who is Rocco's parent.

Grandparents[]

Nick's grandfather calls him Mr. Moore because he can't remember his first name.[1]

Aunts and uncles[]

As of The Old College Try, Nick lives in an apartment that's no more than a thirteen-minute walk from the Keaton family's house. His aunt may live with him - when he checks the fridge, he says, "I think my aunt went shopping today." In You've Got a Friend, he says that his aunt used to take him for motorcycle rides to help him sleep when he was a kid. In Art Lover, he says that his aunt at home is a fan of his work and that she's promised to bid on his "Twelve-Car Pileup" sculpture.

Niblings[]

Nick's nephew Rocco, who appears in Truckers, is obsessed with trucks and acts a lot like a younger version of Nick. His mother works as a waitress at a sleazy bar.

Cousins[]

Nick has an adult cousin who owns an ice cream truck that he sometimes lets Nick borrow.[2]

Nick's favorite cousin is a boy who was abused by his father and now lives at the Milford Center. Nick can't remember his name, and when he tries to visit him, he mistakes an adult employee for his cousin.[3]

In Mrs. Wrong: Part 1, Nick suggests that when he and Mallory elope, they use a Justice of the Peace in New Jersey, because "My cousin uses him a lot."
