Robin Green is a Leland University student who signs up for Alex P. Keaton and James Jarrett's tutoring service. James tutors her in poetry and asks her on a date. They agree to go to Zane Axelrod's poetry reading. After forty minutes of James's lesson, Alex takes over to teach her economics. He asks her on a date, but she tells him she's already going on a date with James. Alex follows them to the poetry reading, where he gets in a fight with James. Alex tells Robin to tell him whether she's more attracted to him or James, but Robin calls them both out for acting like squabbling schoolchildren and says she doesn't want to spend time with either of them again.
